All About Lent

Shrove Tuesday – February 13, please join us for coffee and donuts in the Narthex, after the 12:00 pm Daily Mass. Mass will be held in Upper Church.

Ash Wednesday– February 14, the evening Mass will be at the usual time of 6:00 pm, with confessions at 4:30 and Stations of the Cross at 5:30.  The penitential service, with the deacons presiding, remains at 12:15 pm, and school Mass at 10:00 am. Please remember that seating at the school Mass is very limited.

Lasts 40 days, except Sundays, February 14 – March 28

Focus on Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving

2 Days of Fasting: Ash Wednesday and Good Friday

(1 primary meal and 2 lesser meals and abstinence from meat)

All Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence from meat.
