If you would like to discuss marriage preparation or have questions about divorce, re-marriage, and decrees of nullity please contact Father Richard Ballard at rballard@charlestondiocese.org for an appointment.
Our Lady of the Rosary is a Catholic parish rooted in the family. Together we do all we can to build up our families, and this means not only the nuclear family of Father, Mother, and children, but also the extended family and the family of the parish. All are welcome to hear the call of Jesus Christ and walk together as intentional disciples of the Lord.
Marriage is a vital part of our family life together, and marriages are contracted at Our Lady of the Rosary within the context of a nuptial Mass.
Active members of the parish are invited to be married at Our Lady of the Rosary, and our marriage policy sets out how we will work together with couples to best prepare them for the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
We also welcome single people, widows, widowers and those whose marriages have ended in divorce. Where marriage and homes are broken the Catholic Church is there to bring Christ’s reconciliation, healing and forgiveness.
