Prison Ministry Expanding

We need your help with visiting the imprisoned, a corporal work of mercy! Consider joining OLR’’s prison ministry! In this important this ministry, you can do one or more of the following:

• Participate in weekly Masses with inmates at the local state prison
• Participate in or lead weekly bible studies at the local state prison
• Participate in biannual ecumenical retreats with inmates
• Visit inmates at the Greenville County jail
• Become an in-person mentor to a state inmate
• Work as a mentor to inmates who have recently returned home
• Be a pen pal with Christian inmates
• Coordinate periodic collections of toothpaste, soap, and other such items for inmates
• Coordinate periodic collections of cookies for inmates
