Martha’s past experiences working for the Diocese of Jefferson City, Missouri, and the Diocese of Knoxville, Tennessee have given her the perfect skill set to be our Parish Receptionist. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina.
When new parishioners come to OLR, she is the first welcoming face at the Parish Office. She also assists both our priests with planning and executing events and parish activities.
Growing up in Greenville, SC, Martha was a faithful Protestant, and was received into the Catholic Church in 1989 after attending RCIA in southern Illinois.
Martha’s husband Brian, a “cradle Catholic” has had a profound impact on her life for many years, and they are both very active in OLR ministries. They are also proud parents of a son and daughter and have two wonderful grandsons.
Don’t be frightened by her fanatic support of her USC Gamecocks – she and Brian won’t be anywhere near Greenville when there is a USC home game.
