Mike is an ordained deacon of the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina. His ordination was on February 11th, 2017.

A main area of responsibility for Mike at Our Lady of the Rosary is the ministry of the Divine Mercy. This includes planning events for Divine Mercy Sunday as well as events that celebrate Divine Mercy throughout the year.

In addition to coordinating Divine Mercy events for the parish Mike oversees the Divine Mercy Shrine that is located at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. The shrine currently has first class relics of Pope Saint John the Paul II and Saint Marie Faustina. These relics where given to Our Lady of the Rosary church during a parish pilgrimage to Poland in 2016. A future goal of the shrine is to become known as The Divine Mercy Shrine of the Southeast.

Although it is significant to have events for Divine Mercy and a shrine dedicated to Divine Mercy, it is important that people grow in their knowledge of Divine Mercy so that may experience it in their lives and share it with the people and places they live in. This is the driving purpose of the Divine Mercy ministry at Our Lady of the Rosary.

He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) in 1988 and received his master’s degree in Theology from St. Leo’s University in 2016. He has worked as a software programmer for over 25 years and currently works full time as a systems engineer with an international insurance company.

Mike currently resides in south Greenville county with his wife Sue and their three children. He is originally from New Jersey with a four year stop in central Florida.
